Visit of Honourable Urban Development Minister Shri Suresh Bhardwaj at our project site 1.4 MLD STP Gamru
Today, Hon'ble Urban Development Minister, Gov. of H.P. Sh. Suresh Bhardwaj inspected our on-going ambitious project for development of sewage scheme for leftover area of Smart City Dharamshala, in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The sewage treatment plant (STP) of capacity 14 lakh liter per day will be the example of technology based on mechanized Natural Treatment System. Philosophy is reduced the overall consumption of electricity with production of tertiary treated wastewater for various applications. This STP will be having a lake in its premises which will receive water from the STP. Further, this lake will act as a reservoir for the following designated applications:
- Irrigation
- Animal Drinking
- Fisheries
- Fire fighting arrangements for lower areas of the city., etc.
The facility is being developed under the umbrella of Jal Shakti Vibhag, Gov. of H.P. (funded by Dharamshala Smart City Limited.). This facility will truly fulfil the guidelines of sustainable development goals of India.
